Embryologist – at University of Dundee

We are looking to appoint an outstanding non-clinical lecturer who is a clinical embryologist to support one of the School of Medicine’s priority taught post graduate teaching areas, Reproductive Medicine. You should have expertise in human clinical embryology, teaching in reproductive biology, and will be appointed at the level appropriate to your qualifications and experience. You will be integrally involved in our highly successful face-to-face (F2F) Taught Post Graduate Masters in Human Embryology and Assisted Conception (HCEAC) www.dundee.ac.uk/postgraduate/human-clinical-embryology- assisted-conception and our newly launched part-time distance-learning (PT-DL) course in Clinical Embryology and IVF (CEIVF) www.dundee.ac.uk/postgraduate/clin ical-embryology-ivf-dl. You would also lead in the development and delivery of a series of short practical embryology courses.

Your priorities will include:

• significantly enhance our teaching in reproductive biology and medicine and contribute to our scholarship and research performance,
• contributing to our F2F in HCEAC which has recently undergone department, external and periodic ! review,
• contribute to undergraduate teaching which includes BMSc, BSc (hons) and Selective Study Components of teaching in reproductive medicine.

Who we’re looking for:

• MSc or MD in a reproductive medicine/ biological science (PhD desirable),
• Experience as an Embryologist working within a clinical MAR program,
• Experience of teaching at University (or equivalent) Level,
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
