This post is for candidates who do not have a PhD nor have resided in the UK for more than 12-months in the three years prior to appointment. 

Project title: Evaluation, Acceptance, and Qualification of Advanced Data Analysis for Assessing 24/7 Movement Behaviours: LABDA Toolbox. 

Applications are invited for an employed Doctoral Candidate to be funded by the Marie-Skłodowska-Curie LABDA Project.   

We’re in search of an ambitious scientist with a strong foundation in fields like exercise science, health science, public health, or human movement science, and with understanding and skills in remote health monitoring and coding. 

This full-time post (37-hours per week) is offered on a fixed-term contract for 3-years. The successful candidate will receive an attractive salary including a living allowance, mobility allowance, and a family allowance (if applicable). The position will fully fund a fee free PhD for the period of employment (36-months). 

The project consists of:

  1. Conducting a scoping review
  2. Developing an algorithm benchmark prototype
  3. Using consensus methodologies to engage with stakeholders
  4. Designing a conceptual framework for optimal accelerometer data-analyses.
