Minister Ng to participate in first annual North American Manufacturing Conference

The Honourable Mary Ng, Minister Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development, will participate virtually in the first annual North American Manufacturing Conference, to be held in Washington, D.C., on September 20, 2023.

At the conference, Minister Ng will take part in a moderated discussion, highlighting Canada’s pivotal role in supporting rules-based trilateral trade and resilient North American supply chains, as well as its strong international profile as an attractive destination for investment. The Minister will also discuss the importance of the ongoing implementation of the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA), which is key to North America’s global competitiveness. The conference will host manufacturing sector leaders and government representatives from Canada, the United States and Mexico to discuss building  stronger and more resilient manufacturing supply chains.
