You will be involved in module and course management duties, as well as engaging in research-informed, research-led and innovative pedagogical practice to promote learning and help graduates develop the skills essential for 21st century careers. You will be required to uphold and promote the evidence-based practice required by our professional body, the Association for Nutrition. You are also encouraged to undertake your own research challenges, developing proposals to producing outputs for publication.

The Person

You should ideally hold a doctorate in the field nutrition/dietetics or a closely related area, BSc in Nutrition / Public Health Nutrition or closely related subject and bring some experience of teaching to undergraduate students. As a condition of the AfN accreditation of our nutrition programmes, ideally we need you to be an AfN Registered Nutritionist (RNutr) or Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr), specialising in public health nutrition or a Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registered Dietitian with specialism in public health nutrition.

On a personal level, going above and beyond to deliver exceptional teaching and support to our students will be your core motivation.
