Salary: £37,841 – £38,969 per annum

The School of Medicine, Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences (MDBS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Research Fellow.

The postholder will be an active member in Prof Margariti’s research team (https://margaritilab.com/) https://pure.qub.ac.uk/en/persons/andriana-margariti in WWIEM to assist in projects on blood vessel and cardiac organoids generation in the context of the cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. 

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate you have:

  • Obtained or are about to obtain a relevant PhD.
  • Relevant experience on vascular biology, or vascular diseases, or stem cells, or cell reprogramming, or vascular cell differentiation.

Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
