An exciting opportunity is available for a study manager to work on the RELOAD  study.  RELOAD   will explore the value of  using sounds collected using a mobile device  to predict clinical progression in people with respiratory tract infections.

The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for managing the study, including study set-up, recruitment of study participants and management of recruiting GP practices. You will be responsible for the research governance requirements of the project. You will be based at Aldermoor Health Centre and may be required to travel within the region.

Applicants will have a degree in a health-related discipline (or equivalent experience) and will have knowledge and experience of medical research methodology and statutory clinical trial regulations, GCP, and research governance requirements. You will ideally have experience of set-up, managing, and closing a primary care trial. You will have demonstrated your ability to work efficiently both independently and in teams in a research context and will have excellent written and spoken communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

The post is fixed term for 12 months
