About the Role:
The Faculty of Health, Medicine & Social Care is the largest faculty in the university and constantly pursues innovative approaches to develop and deliver curricula to meet the ever-changing educational needs of the Health and Social Care workforce. Our faculty offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, from foundation degrees to doctoral study.

We’re recruiting for a Lecturer Practitioner to join our practice learning team. This post will contribute to the overall experience of students who will predominantly have placements in primary care, community and social care placements. The post holder will work with placement providers to ensure systems and processes are in place to support student learning opportunities and practice assessment in placement settings. The post holder may need to act as a practice supervisor or practice assessor for students in primary care, community and social care placement settings. The post holder will be required to travel to visit students in a range of locations and placement settings, in order to provide support to students and clinical staff support ARU students.

With a degree or relevant professional qualification, and significant clinical experience working in primary care or community or social care placements and ongoing evidence of CPD, you will also hold a current registration with the UK NMC as a nurse. You’ll have extensive experience of contemporary clinical practice and / or clinical education.
