The role

This is an exciting time to join Bristol Dental School in our brand-new clinical facility. The role holder will play a supportive role in the Clinical Skills Suite, supporting undergraduate students with their skills training across the BDS, Hygiene/Therapy and Dental Nursing.  

What will you be doing?

Working to the direction of a lead tutor in the Clinical Skills Suite and supported by Dentists and Hygienist/Therapists we are seeking enthusiastic and supportive individuals to help prepare our students to taking their first clinical steps in the Clinical Skills Suite before progressing to patient treatment sessions.  The post holder will work within their Scope of Practice, and within an established teaching team to support teaching sessions, providing guidance and support to the students.

We are looking for well organised, enthusiastic individuals who have a keen interest in supporting high-quality integrated teaching and enjoy being part of a strong cohesive team of enthusiastic staff.
We are therefore seeking applicants who are registered with the General Dental Council and hold a BDS degree or BSc Dental Hygiene and Therapy or equivalent but will also consider applicants who are in the process of obtaining their ORE examinations.

The post is available substantively, full time or part-time/job share.

Salary: £37,099 – £41,732 per annum
