From 1st December 2023 for up to 3 years

The Governing Body of St Anne’s College invites applications for two Non-Stipendiary Junior Research Fellowships (in Medical Sciences, Social Sciences or Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences). The Fellowships are affiliated to The Centre for Personalised Medicine (CPM), a partnership between the University of Oxford’s Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics (WHG), part of the Nuffield Department of Medicine, and St Anne’s College, Oxford. The CPM explores the benefits and challenges of advances in science and technology that have led to better means of personalising medicines and medical interventions. It does this through communication and engagement about research in the field, for a wide range of audiences including students, researchers, academics, clinicians, policy makers and the public. For more information please go to https://cpm.well.ox.ac.uk/

Together with the existing CPM team, which includes the Director, Junior Research Fellows, a Research Fellow, and a programme planning team, the successful applicant will help to generate ideas for CPM activities that allow an exploration of personalised medicine from a range of perspectives.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate an interest in the work and direction of the Centre.

It is expected that the Fellowship will be awarded to a candidate who has a recent doctorate in one of the research areas covered by the Centre, or the expectation that their doctoral thesis will be submitted by the closing date, or significant other experience in personalised medicine (for example, clinicians without a doctorate).

Please click on the apply button above for the full further particulars and details on how to apply. The deadline for receipt of applications is noon on Wednesday 1st November 2023

St Anne’s is an equal opportunities employer. Please see our website to complete an Equal Opportunities monitoring form.
