We are recruiting for exceptional individuals to join us as Teaching and Research Lecturers/Senior Lecturers in Public within the Medical School. The primary purpose is to support our taught postgraduate teaching in Public Health (https://www.dundee.ac.uk/postgraduate/public-health) but the role would also involve research.

You will be based at Ninewells Hospital and Medical School, one of Europe’s largest teaching hospitals where the School of Medicine provides outstanding opportunities in medical education and training supported by world class research facilities.

Your priorities will include:

  • Contribute to the Taught Post Graduate Master in Public Health
  • Supervise research being undertaken by master level students
  • Contribute to the research activities of the School of Medicine at the highest level

Your priorities will include:

  • PhD qualification in Public Health or Population Health related subject,
  • Experience of teaching at university (or equivalent) level, Evidence of learning and teaching competence
  • Ability to produce research outputs of internationally excellent quality and Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
