Salary:
Grade 6: £30,487 – £34,980 per annum pro-rata. Potential to progress to £38,205 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution.
Grade 7: £37,099 – £45,585 per annum pro-rata. Potential to progress to £49,794 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution.
The Sheffield Centre for Health and Related Research (SCHARR), within the School of Medicine and Population Health, is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant (Grade 6) or Research Associate (Grade 7) in Evidence Synthesis to provide support for a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) funded Health Technology Assessment that will evaluate the clinical effectiveness, cost effectiveness and acceptability of non-pharmacological interventions for fatigue in long-term conditions.
Your role will include all aspects of the systematic review process including study selection, data extraction and quality assessment. You should have experience of conducting evidence synthesis, preferably within a health/medical field.
A postgraduate qualification and/or relevant experience involving evidence synthesis methodologies (systematic review, rapid review etc), as well as a working knowledge of appropriate software such as Microsoft Office and Endnote are desirable.
