This will involve analysis of non-coding RNA in vascular remodelling regeneration and how to manipulate this and assess therapeutic gain in models of disease (myocardial infarction/cardiac grafting etc).

Your Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • A PhD or thesis submitted/in preparation or equivalent professional qualification and/or experience in the non-coding RNA and/or cardiovascular biology/therapy.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly, orally and in writing and with appropriate IT and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in relevant approaches and models, analytical techniques and methods (includes practical lab work, data manipulations and subsequent dissemination of research in form of publication), particularly understanding transcriptome informatics.
