We are looking for a motivated and experienced Tutor/Assessor who has a proven track record of providing work-based teaching, learning and assessment in the Dental Sector.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Caring Professions Work-Based Learning Team for the appointment of a full time Dental Tutor Assessor to support our learners undertaking apprenticeship and adult part-time qualifications in this growing provision.

Managing a caseload of Apprenticeship and part-time learner’s caseloads, you will assess students’ progress and provide guidance on how to improve their skills and knowledge

Maintaining accurate records of student progress and assessment results you will collaborate with other instructors to ensure consistency and alignment of course content.

With excellent communication and interpersonal skills you will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

You will have have experience of supporting the development of up to date knowledge, skills and behaviours relating to the key priorities for this sector and its employers.  You will have experience of teaching and assessing apprentices and adults. 

The successful candidate will hold:

  • A minimum of level 3 dental qualification.
  • A level 3 assessors award.
  • A minimum level 4 teaching certificate and/or be willing to work towards a level 5
  • Have current GDC registration.
  • Ideally be a qualified IQA.
