The parents of Madeleine McCann have issued a heartbreaking statement on what would have been her 20th birthday.
Maddie went missing when she was three years old while on holiday with her parents Kate and Gerry McCann and her brother and sister in Praia da Luz in 2007.
No one has ever been charged over the toddler’s disappearance.
To mark her bithday Kate and Gerry wrote on Facebook: “Happy birthday Madeleine! We love you and we’re waiting for you. We’re never going to give up.”
The pair also shared a photo taken of the tot while on holiday before she vanished.They captioned the snap: “She’s still missing, still missed and we are never going to give up trying to find her.”
