Biographical note: Mairead Lavery – Canada.ca

Mairead Lavery joined Export Development Canada (EDC) in 2014 as senior vice president of the Business Development Group. Under her direction, EDC has achieved consistent growth, supported Canadian companies in their business efforts in 200 markets around the world and generated over $100 billion in annual trade and investment. Before her time with EDC, Ms. Lavery held several executive roles at Bombardier Inc. over the course of a 16-year tenure. Ms. Lavery holds a degree in Management and Accounting from Queen’s University Belfast.
