We are recruiting for an individual to join us as Lead Integrated Teacher within our Undergraduate Medical School, who will support our cohort of Integrated Teachers, who lead small group reflective learning around Professional Values and Behaviours (an umbrella term for professionalism, ethics, human factors/patient safety, teamwork/leadership). This post is 2PA, 8 hours per week, funded by NHS ACT.

You will be based at Ninewells Hospital and Medical School, one of Europe’s largest teaching hospitals where the School of Medicine provides outstanding opportunities in medical education and training supported by world class research facilities.

Your priorities will include:

  • Supporting and developing the Integrated Teacher role across the MBChB curriculum
  • Coordinating with curriculum and teaching leads to ensure integration of the IT curriculum
  • Close working with the lead for Professional Values and Behaviours, and the staff development team

Who we’re looking for:

  • Senior medical staff, such as Consultant, GP or SAS doctor
  • Prior medical education experience desired
