Location: Old Road Campus Research Building, Headington OX3 7DQ

We are seeking an enthusiastic Postdoctoral Research Assistant in AI for Healthcare to join the CHI lab at the Department of Engineering Science (Headington Oxford). The full-time post is funded by NIHR and is fixed term for up to 12 months with a possible extension.

This project is about creating novel AI models to identify and discover patient sub-cohorts via the design of deep clustering algorithms based on state-of-the-art algorithms. You will be responsible for literature review, data cleaning and analysis.

You should possess a relevant PhD (or near completion) in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or conjugate subject and have a strong record of publication in the relevant literature. Good knowledge of machine learning algorithms and/or statistical methods is essential, as well as proven competence in programming methods like Python. You should also have evidence of working well as part of a multidisciplinary research team.
