The role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our teaching and learning community in Anatomy at Bristol, where a large team of teaching focused staff support ~1500 students.

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Anatomical Education Practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the delivery of our anatomy courses and will contribute to the development of new teaching strategies, technologies and methods in the field of anatomical education and assessment. You will be joining a supportive and innovative team, committed to delivering high quality education to our students.

This post will be appointed at Lecturer (Grade K) or Senior Lecturer (Grade L) level depending on the individuals’ profiles and skill sets.

Both grades indicate substantive experience in University teaching.

What will you be doing?

You will be:

  • Contributing to the development and implementation of innovative and effective teaching strategies, technologies and methods in the field of anatomical education and assessment
  • Providing leadership and guidance to junior staff in the delivery of anatomy courses
  • Contributing to the development and delivery of courses, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate level
  • Supervising student projects and delivering seminars within your anatomical subspecialty

Shift pattern: 35h per week
