About the Role
The Research Assistant is part of the PANDASIA collaborative research project between diverse European institutions and Thailand. The research project is aimed to make a contribution to our understanding of pandemic literacy and viral zoonotic spillover risk (see http://pandasia-project.eu). The project is funded by the EU and running between 2023-2027. The research assistant will directly support the Senior Lecturer in Global Public Health, Doreen Montag a Co-Investigator of PANDASIA and based at QMUL.
About You
The candidate is expected to hold a Postgraduate degree, with previous experience in qualitative research methods, policy, and stakeholder analysis The candidate is also expected to have an advanced level in Thai, enabling the candidate to do document and interview analysis in Thai. A broader interest and knowledge in one health, ecohealth and planetary health will be beneficial for approaching the main aim of PANDESIA.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is part time 17.5 hours per week (50% FTE), temporary appointment for 15 months, with an expected start date of August 2023. The starting salary will be Grade 4, £39,308 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
