About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an exciting programme of research on blood-brain barrier led by Dr Adjanie Patabendige. You will join the Brain Barriers Research group (https://sites.edgehill.ac.uk/brainbarriers-research/) and have access to cutting-edge laboratory equipment, exceptional mentoring, collaborative work with overseas biotech companies, and opportunities to develop research skills that will support a future career in academic research.

About You

As Projects Research Co-ordinator you will:

  • Hold an honours degree in Biomedical Science or a related field.
  • Have mammalian cell culture experience.

Have previous experience as a research project assistant or in co-ordination.

  • Be able to work on own initiative, independently and as part of a team.
  • Be able to organise and prioritise work effectively.
  • Have excellent record keeping and data management skills.
