Job Details

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Clinical Trial Co-ordinator to work within the Bob Champion Clinical Trials Unit which undertakes research trials in radiotherapy and urological cancers. 

The post holder will support our urological trial portfolio with roles including co-ordinating trial set up, patient recruitment, on going patient care and data management on allocated protocols. 

Key Requirements

The successful candidate will be educated to at least degree level in life sciences/nursing, with 12-18 months or more experience in oncology clinical trials, preferably including experience of working in an environment with direct patient contact. They must have excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure highly effective and appropriate communication both with patients and with external partners.  They must have a sound working knowledge of the regulatory framework underpinning UK Clinical Trials and the implementation of clinical trial protocols in accordance with ICH GCP within an investigator site.

The post holder must be highly organised, self motivated and able to manage complex studies, planning their work and competing priorities around a busy clinical unit.  They should be logical and methodical, possess strong problem solving skills and be fluent in the use of MS Office applications.
