Summary of the role
This research fellow post is to support the LAMP trial, an Innovate funded project. This project aims to manage the trial of a novel biomarker test, to predict and prevent miscarriage and adverse birth outcomes. The project is linked with an industry partner, IHG Pharmaco, and therefore the post holder will be responsible for managing this partnership too. Due to the fact that this is a clinical trial involving pregnant women, the role is open to trainee obstetricians wishing to gain research experience.
Summary of what attributes we are looking for
- Postgraduate qualification or relevant experience in quantitative/qualitative research in obstetrics field
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly
- High level analytical capability
- Ability to assess resource requirements and use resources effectively
- Experience in quantitative and/or qualitative research methods and ability to contribute to developing new research methodologies
- Contribute to the planning and organising of the research programme and/or specific research project
- Co-ordinate own work with others to avoid conflict or duplication of effort
