The role holder will work on SARS CoV-2 virology and immunology of vaccine responses in the Gupta group. We will be examining both spike mediated immune escape and cell entry. The role holder will perform neutralization assays, and generate pseudotyped viral particles for a range of assays, including cell tropism. We will also perform ADCC assays to examine non neutralizing activity of antibodies.

This position offers an ideal opportunity for a highly motivated research assistant wishing to advance their career in infectious disease research with a translational focus.

This role will be 100% based in the Department of Medicine, University of Cambridge.
