Who we’re looking for:

Plymouth Marjon University are seeking an individual to join our ambitious team within the School of Health and Wellbeing to support our apprentices and employers in the practice-based environment. You will have proven knowledge of the health and care sector and be passionate about teaching and learning as well as supporting individuals to develop and grow. We are seeking an exceptional individual to support us on our journey to becoming the provider of choice for healthcare apprenticeships in the region. Are you highly motivated and passionate about quality in apprenticeships? If so, you can make a real difference in helping our apprentices achieve to their potential. Applicants must have strong team working skills, in addition to strong written and verbal communication skills. You will need to be qualified to at least Level 3 in health and social care, with comprehensive experience and an understanding of the wider sector.

What you’d be doing:

You will be responsible for supporting a caseload of apprentices to successfully achieve and complete their apprenticeship journey. You will organise and maintain the appropriate documentation in relation to the apprenticeship and regularly review apprentices’ progress in conjunction with their employer both face to face in the workplace and virtually.

You’ll need to enjoy:

Where you’ll work:

In this role, you’ll be based in the Nursing, Health Sciences team within the School of Health and Wellbeing, on our green campus in the north of Plymouth.

Our current hybrid working policy means you can work from home or on campus, but you will be required to maintain both strong campus and practice-based links and be available on-site or in practice at least 3 days per week.
