About the Role
The Centre for Primary Care within the Wolfson Institute of Population Health (WIPH) invites applications for a Health Services Researcher to support delivery of a research study assessing and understanding the evidence base for assistive technology in people living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

As part of this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the research activities of the COPD and Assistive technology study. The study is of 18 months duration and involves three work streams that will include a systematic review, a qualitative evidence synthesis, interviews, and a consensus workshop.

The post provides an excellent opportunity to develop knowledge, skills, and expertise on assistive technology service provision within health and social care settings. The post will provide opportunities to contribute to complementary research.

About You
The post would be particularly suited to individuals who are experienced with handling quantitative and qualitative data and keen to learn new skills. A passion to carry out more inclusive research and improve health inequalities is important in addition to practical skills such as coordinating and delivering research projects. Experience of working in assistive technology including digital technology, public engagement and involvement and application of theoretical frameworks in the field of complex interventions is highly desirable.
