We wish recruit an Early Years Lecturer to enhance our Health Sciences undergraduate and post-graduate programmes and contribute specifically to the development and delivery of our MSc Early Years Practice (Health Visiting) programme.

Child and family wellbeing are central to all our health-related programmes, with child protection, safeguarding and related case management essential to the Early Years Practice programme. There has been considerable investment in the development of our healthcare programmes, and it is anticipated that there will be growth in the MSc EYP, BSc PP and MScAP, particularly as we establish strong connections with our practice partners though The Partnership.

The successful candidate will be a NMC registered Health Visitor with experience of supporting and educating Health Visiting students. They will be able to design and deliver online and face-to-face courses at both under-graduate and post-graduate level and above using evidence-based approach to educaton and research-led teaching. The successful candidate would have a solid understanding of the regulations and standards that govern SCPHN and broader healthcare education and related clinical skills and practice. Ideally, they will have, or be working towards a PhD or evidence of a track record a Health Visiting role.

The postholder will work closely with colleagues across the division.  This post is intended to maximise the provision of contemporary collaborative healthcare knowledge and skills within the programmes and to build links between clinical practice, research and education across the faculty.
