We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Clinical Research Fellow, to be based at the Old Road Campus Research Building in Oxford, working for the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU) in Vietnam.

Improving the treatment of dengue is priority for OUCRU-Vietnam and Centre for Tropical Medicine in Oxford. The dengue research group at OUCRU aims to set up a global platform trial to accelerate the discovery and regulatory approval of new dengue therapeutics.

You will be responsible for extracting core summary data from all eligible trials into a REDcap database suitable for analysis. As a part of a team, you will carry out a systematic review of all clinical trials in dengue therapeutics published to date, maintaining good communication with the study team and collaborating departments in Oxford and OUCRU-Vietnam. You will also assist with presenting study progress and findings to collaborators and other audiences.

It is essential that you hold a medical degree in infectious diseases or microbiology speciality. Having experience in Clinical research and Global Health is essential, preferably experience working in Vietnam or Asia. You will need to have an excellent communication skill, both verbal and written and you will be self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience in clinical research of dengue is essential for this role.
