The School of Health and Social Wellbeing is situated in the College of Health, Science and Society at UWE, Bristol. The changing shape of contemporary health and social care requires a workforce that can work across boundaries, requiring the HEI sector to evolve to meet the needs of partners and employers in creating an agile workforce. About you:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring pharmacist to join our successful and highly committed multi-professional Independent Prescribing team. The Independent Prescribing team participate in teaching, assessing and supporting multi-professional learners across the South West of England.
Successful candidates will have a high level of insight into contemporary prescribing practice, knowledge of the contemporary theories and concepts which underpin independent prescribing practice, as well as applied pharmacology.
Applicants must be registered on the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Register.
This post is based at our Glenside Campus which is set within beautiful grounds in Stapleton, just three miles north east of Bristol City Centre. Regular bus services connect the campus to the main Frenchay site, the city centre and surrounding areas, and nearby Bristol Parkway train station.

We have two posts: one permanent post and is full time, and one for maternity cover – one year fixed term full time. These posts are available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time.
