We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate to make a leading contribution to a programme of complex intervention research led by Professor Sharon Simpson.

You will be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications as well as help manage and direct complex projects within the Complexity in Health Improvement Programme at the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit (SPHSU).

The main project you will be working on is the PERFORM trial (https://le.ac.uk/perform), specifically the process evaluation of this trial which will test the feasibility of a cardiac rehabilitation programme for patients with multi-morbidity.

We welcome applications from candidates with specialist theoretical and practical knowledge related to developing and evaluating complex interventions.

Candidates should be qualified to Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 12 (PhD) or alternatively possess the equivalent in professional qualifications and experience, with experience of personal development in a similar or related role(s)

This position is full time, fixed term for 12 months, with a proposed start date of 15 November 2023.
