About the Role
To provide statistical support for the design, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials under the supervision of the senior CVCTU statistician and in collaboration with principal investigators and other researchers.

About You
Candidate is expected to have a PhD/DPhil qualification in statistics or related quantitative field with experience in carrying out research related to health or health care.

This post is based within the Barts Cardiovascular Clinical Trials Unit (CVCTU) at the William Harvey Research Institute. CV CTU is part of the Barts Clinical Trials Unit, a UK Clinical Research Collaboration (UKCRC) registered CTU (ID:4), is also affiliated CTU of the British Heart Foundation CRC initiative (https://bhfcrc.org/clinical-trials-units/). Our mission is to support cardiovascular research by delivering excellence in the design, conduct, and dissemination of clinical trials with the aim of improving patient care.

The post is based at the Charterhouse Square Campus in London. It is a full-time or part-time (minimum: 21 hours per week, 0.6 FTE), fixed-term appointment for 1 year in the first instance. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £41,386 to £45,931 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
