The role is part of the Plus Project, a $34m Unitaid grant to support countries to implement Perennial Malaria Chemoprevention (PMC). The prime recipient is Population Services International who have subcontracted the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to evaluate the implementation. The Plus Project aims to co-design, pilot, and evaluate country-adapted models of PMC in four focus countries: Benin, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, and Mozambique, and additional work is being conducted in DRC, Ghana and Zambia to inform the potential value of adding PMC to country policy.

The successful applicant will contribute to modelling the impact of PMC-SP for the current delivery strategies chosen by the four focus countries. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an area of major public health importance. The post-holder will be based at LSHTM in Keppel Street, London, and work between a multidisciplinary team at LSHTM and the modelling team at Imperial College working on malaria transmission and preventive treatment. Further particulars are included in the job description.
