Are you medically qualified and ambitious with an interest in research and PNH? Do you have experience of working in Haematology? Do you want to further your career by undertaking a PhD in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?

You will support and undertake research in paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria (PNH). Your research will focus on investigations around the presentation of clinical breakthrough on both proximal and terminal complement inhibition, including identification of patients, collection of samples and investigation of potential biomarkers.  You will lead your own studies in this area, including methods development and clinical studies and contribute to the work of the research group as a whole.

During your employment you will also work towards a PhD at the University of Leeds.  This is an exciting opportunity if you are a haematology trainee, especially if you are aiming to sub specialise in PNH or pursue an academic career. You will be medically qualified with MRCP or equivalent and full GMC registration.
