The newly created role of Associate Dean in the School of Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences will provide strategic leadership capability, ensuring curriculum design and content delivery is inspiring and cognisant of changing markets and supportive of enterprise and employability outcomes.
The new Associate Dean will possess:
- A track record in successful leadership of an academic discipline relevant to the school
- Ability to lead successful business development and enterprise partnerships related to academic provision
- Detailed understanding and experience of improving, delivering and enhancing the student experience and student outcomes
- Experience of overseeing successful student recruitment to target, and developing widening participation initiatives
- An understanding of university quality assurance processes and other regulatory frameworks
