About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Research Projects Coordinator to join the Psychology Department to provide quality research support to enthusiastic teams of academics leading research projects. In particular, you will assist with the development of a project on the cognitive processes underpinning authoritarian dispositions in the non-clinical population and will work to develop and implement a series of behavioral experiments.

You will gain experience with all aspects of the research process which could serve as a springboard towards a PhD.

About you

As Research Projects Coordinator, you will:

  • Have experience in empirical research in cognitive psychology (e.g., experiment design and implementation, participant testing, dataset management).
  • Have experience with data analysis software packages, such as SPSS or R. Programming skills would also be a benefit.
  • Possess a good academic background (degree classification of 2;1) in Psychology or related discipline (e.g., neuroscience, cognitive science).
  • Be proactive and highly motivated with excellent organisational skills, a willingness to learn and a keen interest in the topic.
