British Heart Foundation

The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research in the UK, supporting research into the causes, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The BHF’s vision is a world where people don’t die prematurely from cardiovascular disease. To achieve this vision, the BHF is committed to providing flexible personal awards that retain talented scientists in academia and that allow cardiovascular researchers to return to the laboratory after a career break.

Please see the Information For Researchers section of the BHF website to find out more about the research supported by the BHF or contact research@bhf.org.uk if you have a query about the remit of your project.
