Warwick Medical School wishes to appoint an ambitious and outstanding academic with expertise in Health Economics to lead work in one of the UK’s leading universities. The appointee will join the rapidly expanding group of experts in public and population health located in Health Sciences, Warwick Medical School.

This exciting new post will involve leading health economics and stated preferences methods research in the area of self-care, self-screening and community-led interventions and valuation of broader societal costs and effects of interventions to address infectious diseases, sexual and reproductive health and chronic diseases in the Global South and the Global North. The postholder will collaborate with trialists and mathematical modellers within and beyond Health Sciences to incorporate user perspectives to optimise uptake and predict demand within and beyond trial settings.

As the Lead for Global Health Economics and Health Preference Research in Warwick Medical School, you will work with a multidisciplinary team of educators and methodologists including qualitative researchers, epidemiologists, and modellers. You will also work closely with trialists, statisticians and other health economists within Warwick Clinical Trials Unit. You will provide senior leadership to junior and mid-career health economists in the Division of Health Sciences within Warwick Medical School.
