About the Role
We are now seeking a bright, versatile researcher to work in a supporting role. The post-holder will work closely with them to deliver mixed method research which will be predominantly qualitative but will include some mixed-methods studies (e.g., surveys). The studies underway focus on community based participatory approaches exploring the lived experiences of East London communities currently women of Black African heritage and women of Black Caribbean heritage. The postholder will be responsible for developing and delivering communications and public engagement strategies for the study portfolio.

About You
The successful candidate will have postgraduate qualification (MSc/ MA) and experience of qualitative research within a university and/or NHS setting. Evidence of ongoing professional development. About the Institute
The Blizard Institute was established in 2003 and is one of six Institutes within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL. The Institute comprises approximately 350 staff based in four academic Centres and one Public Engagement Centre, and supports a combined total of c750 postgraduate research and taught students. The Institute aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), fixed term appointment for 1 year, with an expected start date of Sept-Oct 2023. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of £35,636 – £ 40,223 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
