Swansea University Medical School is looking for a health practitioner who has experience in teaching medical students using simulation and VR. The post-holder will contribute to teaching and student assessment on the 4-year Graduate Entry Medicine (GEM) programme at Swansea University – https://www.swansea.ac.uk/undergraduate/courses/medicine/medicine-graduate-entry-mbbch/ – in addition to sharing organisational and academic administrative responsibilities. The post-holder will lead simulated teaching in the ‘Integrated Clinical Method’ (ICM) strand of the programme that is delivered weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays. ICM includes the teaching of communication skills, procedural skills and history and examination to the students. The post requires high quality delivery of teaching and student learning and a commitment to enhancing the overall student experience.
