A postdoc position is available in the McKenzie lab at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB). You will join a highly integrated and motivated team with diverse skills and expertise focussed on the molecular regulation of innate lymphoid cells and their roles in health and diseases such as asthma and allergy. Specifically you will investigate the roles of Nmu-positive neurons in the regulation of type-2 immune responses.
As the successful candidate you should have a PhD in immunology or a relevant biological subject (or expect to complete your doctoral studies in a biological subject within 6 months of applying). You should also have experience in flow cytometry, in vitro cell culture, molecular biology, generation and management of transgenic mouse lines.
This is a training and development position suitable for you if you have recently completed your doctoral studies, or you are looking to move into a new research discipline and/or need to further develop your research skills. Working with our world class scientists you will be working in an Institute renowned for its excellent scientific facilities and high-quality research.
