Summary:

We are seeking to appoint Clinical Teachers in Restorative Dentistry.

This post would be ideally suited to experienced dental practitioners with an interest in the education of dental students, and have as a primary role the provision of learning and teaching innovation. We are seeking to appoint to a minimum commitment of two sessions per week and a maximum of six sessions per week.

A major aspect of the post is to provide Learning and Teaching for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) undergraduate programme. If appropriately qualified as a registered specialist, you may be providing L&T on our postgraduate programmes. You will be expected to take part in all aspects of clinical governance activities, staff development, participate in the University Staff Review & Development Scheme (SRDS), and postgraduate educational activities as appropriate. An appropriate honorary clinical contract will be requested from the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We’re one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK.
