We are looking for an enthusiastic post-doctoral researcher with interest and experience in analysing genetic and other molecular data.

The opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious post-doctoral scientist to work within an exciting team to improve our understanding of how antidepressants work. The successful candidate will contribute to knowledge on the genomic (genetic, epigenetic and proteomic) mechanisms of antidepressants by analysing data from large clinical and population-based studies. The post-doctoral research fellowship will be held within the Division of Psychiatry. The successful applicant will analyse genomic data as part of team effort with collaborators at King’s College London, Oxford University and the Psychiatric Genomics Consortium.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Experience of analysing genomic data
  • Experience of working with R
  • Evidence of having contributed to published research 
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Experience of working effectively within a team and ability to work independently
