We have an opportunity for a Research Assistant/Associate to join the School of Medicine, Dentistry & Nursing, to participate in the delivery of the multi-centre clinical dietary intervention “OCEaN: Optimisation before Crohn’s surgery using Exclusive enteral Nutrition”

This is a collaborative research project between the University Hospitals Birmingham, the University of Birmingham, the University of Glasgow and other partner organisations across the UK.

The post holder will report to Professor Konstantinos Gerasimidis, the local principal investigator at the University of Glasgow.

The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute/to make a leading contribution to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.

For appointment at Grade 7, the successful candidate will require normally Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 12 (PhD) or alternatively possess the equivalent in professional qualifications and experience, with experience of personal development in a similar or related role(s)
