This role provides a rare and exciting opportunity to join a motivated and innovative team of academics, committed to the delivery of high-quality healthcare education and discipline related research activity. You will be based within the multi-professional School of Health Sciences, a vibrant and collaborative community, encompassing a variety of Allied Health Professions and Nursing programmes.

We are looking for an innovative and experienced registered nurse academic with relevant experience within pre-registration adult nurse education and/or mental health nurse education, teaching, assessment, and associated research. The post requires an individual with well-developed communication and organisational skills, capable of effective inter-professional and cross-boundary working. You will predominantly work within the nursing team but will also advocate for the promotion of nurse education across the School of Health Sciences.

You should hold an adult nurse registration with the NMC and have nurse educational experience in either a clinical setting, or at a higher education institution. Knowledge of issues affecting clinical education, and evidence of CPD are essential attributes. You should hold a Master’s degree or be registered on a Master’s programme in a relevant subject area. In addition, you will need to demonstrate evidence of scholarly activity within healthcare or clinical education.
