An opportunity has arisen enabling experienced healthcare professionals to contribute to the support of Apprentices in the workplace related to the Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) Apprenticeship programme.  The role involves visits to several clinical sites, to support apprentices and employers; travel costs are reimbursed.

The role would suit experienced practitioners familiar with advanced practice currently working in Band 6 positions, or above. The post requires an individual with well-developed leadership and organisational skills, capable of effective inter-professional and cross boundary working.

You should hold registration with the NMC or HCPC, and have educational experience in a clinical setting, or at a higher education institution. Knowledge of issues affecting clinical education, and evidence of CPD are important attributes.  You should either possess a Master’s degree in a relevant subject, or be registered on such a programme.

The University has the right to close the vacancy early if it is deemed that there have been enough applications received.
