The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced the following diplomatic appointments:

Daniel Ahmad becomes Ambassador to the Republic of El Salvador. Mr. Ahmad replaces Karolina Guay.

Anderson Blanc becomes Ambassador to the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire. Mr. Blanc replaces Claude Demers.

Ambra Dickie becomes High Commissioner in Brunei Darussalam. Ms. Dickie replaces Jeanette Stovel.

Emmanuel Kamarianakis becomes Ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil. Mr. Kamarianakis replaces Jennifer May.

Tarik Ali Khan becomes Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Mr. Khan replaces Donica Pottie.

Stefanie McCollum becomes Ambassador to the Lebanese Republic. Ms. McCollum replaces Chantal Chastenay.

Marie-Geneviève Mounier becomes Ambassador to the Republic of Senegal. Ms. Mounier replaces Sébastien Beaulieu.

Stephen Potter becomes Ambassador to the Republic of Ecuador. Mr. Potter replaces Sylvie Bédard.

Brian Szwarc becomes Ambassador to the Republic of Latvia. Mr. Szwarc replaces Kevin Rex.

Nadia Theodore becomes Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the World Trade Organization, in Geneva. Ms. Theodore replaces Stephen de Boer.

Eva Yu becomes Consul General in Chongqing (People’s Republic of China). Ms. Yu replaces Jeff David.
