Applications are invited for a permanent post of an Associate Professor of Cutaneous Biology within UCD School of Medicine/Charles Institute of Dermatology.
This academic position in Ireland will be suitable for an exceptional wet laboratory-based researcher in the study of mammalian skin, where the focus will be on building capacity in the knowledge of human skin in health and disease. UCD has a strong track record in cutaneous research, particularly since the establishment in 2011 of the only dedicated academic center for dermatologic research and education on the island of Ireland. The UCD School of Medicine, together with the UCD Charles Institute of Dermatology, has created a position for an ambitious midcareer investigator who will build a cutting-edge research programme that develops and applies modern biology to human skin, to address key biomedical issues associated with skin health and disease for ultimate translational / clinical solutions.)
95 Associate Professor (7941) Salary Scale: €77,175 – €108,988
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
