Canada has announced $84.6 million in funding for nutrition-specific programming to support the implementation of four new projects by Canadian partners. These projects will contribute to Canada’s 10-year Global Health and Rights commitment, including the priority focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and to Canada’s 2020 commitment to increase funding for gender-informed nutrition interventions.

This project will improve nutrition and nutrition-related rights, and gender equality for the poorest and most vulnerable women, adolescent girls and children in Tanzania and Uganda.
