We are seeking a highly motivated clinically trained doctor with genomics expertise to deliver the key milestones in the clinical guidelines (Worpackage 3) and education workstream (Workpackage 5) of the £4.3 million CRUK Catalyst Award: “CanGene CanVar: Data Resources, Clinical and Educational Tools to leverage Cancer Susceptibility Genetics for Early Detection and Prevention of Cancer”, running 2019-2024 (see http://cangene-canvaruk.org/).
Key attributes of the successful applicant include:
- Working knowledge of cancer genetics
- Previous experience in the delivery of high quality education
- Experience in delivery of virtual and online teaching resources
- High level of prioritisation and organisation to manage a high volume of work and priorities effectively
- Strong organisational, time-management and communication skills
- Enthusiasm and personal initiative to solve problems, a self-starter with ability to work unsupervised
