At Teesside University, we are ambitious in our goals, vision and aspirations. We challenge expectations and push the boundaries of what is possible. From transforming our campus through a £300m investment and capital development programme, to creating outstanding, innovative academic programmes, our work is always relevant and purpose driven.

We believe that innovation powers our steps and are motivated to make a difference through positive social impact. We work in partnership with individuals and businesses to devise creative solutions not limited by imagination. We work at pace, and are always future facing with our teaching, learning and research focused on addressing the challenges of tomorrow, today. We do not stand still.

The School of Health and Life Sciences has the largest student body in the University, with a diverse breadth of courses across our Departments of Science, Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions, teaching and delivering services at both our Middlesbrough and Darlington Campuses.

We are seeking to appoint a number of clinical supervisors for our student dental facility. Main duties include supervising dental hygiene students whilst they are developing their clinical competence in the student dental treatment clinic and responsibility for the students’ learning in the clinical setting.

You must be registered as a Dental Hygiene Therapist and/or Therapist with the General Dental Council, have experience of working as a Dental Hygienist and/or Dental Therapist and of contemporary dental hygiene and/or dental therapy practice. It is essential that you have experience of supporting students in practice.
