A new Clinical Fellow post has been created in Orthopaedics and Emergency Care Research Team led by Professor Daniel Perry. This role will be part of a new enthusiastic team committed to creating clinical research studies that are known internationally for breaking boundaries to revolutionise surgical care for children and young people.

The role of the Clinical Fellow will be to engage with and support the research activities of the team and will be primarily based at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate is expected to be involved in all of the projects within the team’s portfolio, as necessary. The post is under the supervision of Professor Perry & The team Programme Manager.

You will be offered training and research opportunities within other areas aligned to the needs of your research projects. You will also be encouraged to develop your specific projects within this group and apply for future funding to undertake research. The post is available for 12 months in the first instance.

The University has the right to close the vacancy early if it is deemed that there have been enough applications received.
